Hi, I’m Lula Carter owner of Carter Elite Travel located in Gardena, Ca. I have been in the travel industry for over 8 years and in the wedding and event planning business for 15.

My passion for travel and weddings has allowed me to visit several countries in my journey to find the perfect location for vacations, weddings and honeymoons.

Jamaica became my favorite destination to suggest for weddings, honeymoons  and vacations of all kinds after I visited it several times. The vibe of the island, the wonderful people there and so much more puts it on the top of my Destination Wedding and Vacation choice.

I truly feel no where else will you find such a wonderful island to tie the knot or to begin your new life together as husband and wife, to enjoy the beauty of the island and the vibes you will feel the moment you step off the plane. Jamaica has a way of slipping into your soul and spirit before you even know it.

So this blog will be dedicated to accommodations in Jamaica, in addition to attractions, dining, beaches, wedding locations and the best hotels for your honeymoon, vacation and so much more.

So visit often and please send me a email at anytime if you have any questions or want to book your vacation, wedding or honeymoon to the beautiful island of Jamaica.

I can be reached at 310-722-3099 or email me at Lula@CarterEliteTravel.com

  1. Hey Lula!! Nice start to your blog! I can’t wait to visit and read all the stuff you’re gonna post.

Blogging about something you love so much is definitely therapy for the soul when we’re away from Jamaica. My blog is what keeps me going in the “in between trips” times.

      Kristi,
You are one of the reasons I decided to do this. Since I have been to so many resorts, attractions and various towns in Jamaica, I decided to tie it all together for anyone that might be interested.

BTW, I have had a full size color photo of you kissing the dolphin on my cubicle wall since you posted it on face Book. My colleagues think it is great. Keep up the fantastic job!!

    hi Lula,
Just came across your Jamaican recipes on the Spoonfullof oil website. Love your blog, as my wife and I spent three extremely happy years in Jamaica (one of our two sons was born in Kingston I’m proud to say) from 1965 -1968 whilst teaching at Excelsior High School on Mountain View Road, Kingston. A perfect light lunch for me is one or two Jamaican spicy beef patties followed by a red stripe beer and the memories come flooding back.
    Keep up the good work
    Derek

This is such a great resource that you are providing and you give it away for free. I love seeing websites that understand the value of providing a quality resource for free. It?s the old what goes around comes around routine.
